Laser hair removal treatments at Smooth Generation is a safe and highly-effective service suitable for all skin types.
We offer both Alex and nD:Yag lasers at Smooth Generation. Our laser is considered the gold-standard in laser hair removal. Smooth Generation clients notice a reduction in hair growth
 after just 1 session!

HOW TO PREPARE​​

For your safety, please read and follow the following instructions carefully:

  • Please shave the area that will be treated a day prior to your appointment.

  • No sun exposure 2 weeks prior to your appointment and 2 weeks after LHR.

  • No spray tans or self-tanning lotions 2 weeks before your treatment.

  • No waxing or plucking hairs for 2-3 weeks prior to your initial appointment. Once you begin LHR no more waxing or plucking!

  • Do not use products that increase skin sensitivity for 7 days prior such as retinols, hydroquinone, and other dermatology topicals.

  • Please let your service provided know if you are taking any antibiotics or other medications that can cause photo sensitivity.

HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?

BODY - 6-8 sessions - 6 weeks apart
FACE - 8-12 sessions - 4 weeks apart
**For best results, laser hair removal treatments should be scheduled within the recommended intervals. Failure to do so may results in a need for additional sessions.

POST TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS

  • Makeup may be applied immediately after treatment if desired.

  • Shaving, trimming, or buzzing of hairs in between treatments is recommended.

  • ​Avoid sun tanning for 2 weeks.

  • Use sun protection (at least SPF 30)

  • No exercise or excessive sweating 24 hours after treatment.

  • No hot showers, baths or saunas after treatment.

  • No exfoliation 24-72 hours after treatment.
