A safe and clean environment has always been a top priority at Smooth Generation. To ensure our clients and staff continue to feel confident and comfortable in our spa, we have added advanced safety equipment and protocols.

  • Each client will have their temperature checked as they enter.

  • Covid question form must be completed by each client every time you come in for an appointment.

  • Each treat room has an air purifier with HEPA-13 filtration system. What are HEPA filters are why are they important?

    • HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air. It is a standard defined and developed by the U.S. Department of Energy during the 1940s as part of their efforts to contain the spread of particles and contamination resulting from nuclear testing. This standard has since moved into the consumer market and has become commonplace for air purifiers.

    • To meet the HEPA standard, the filter must remove 99.97% or more of all particles which are 0.3 microns (micrometers) in diameter. In other words, for every 10,000 particles that are 0.3 microns in diameter, only three of them pass through.

    • The HEPA standard traps very small particles, many of which are invisible to the human eye and harmful to your health. To provide perspective for size, human hair is approximately 80-100 microns in diameter.

  • Treatments rooms are sanitized with UV-C lights after each client. What are UV-C lights? 

    • ​A germicidal lamp is an electric light that produces ultraviolet C (UVC) light. This short-wave ultraviolet light disrupts DNA base pairing, causing formation of pyrimidine dimers, and leads to the inactivation of bacteria, viruses, and protozoa. 

  • Service providers must work in gloves, masks and safety goggles. 

  • Only 1-2 clients may be in the spa at any given time. Please arrive to your appointment alone. Guests may not wait in the reception area. Only minors may be accompanied by an adult. 

  • Hand sanitizer is available throughout the spa.

  • If you are feeling unwell, please call us to reschedule your appointment, cancellation fees will be waived.  No-show fees will not be waived. 

  • Masks must be worn when arriving to your appointment, in the reception area, in all common areas and in the restroom
